Poxle: Rust Prophet
Meet Poxle: Collector of Residue
Also known as Auntie Hook & Rust Prophet
In daylight, she is often mistaken for an average crow, stretched too long by memory, feathers gleaming with oil-slick blues and the shimmer of old nails. Her claws are always ink-stained, her breath smells faintly of melted wax and rain.
She collects what the world throws away: rusted nails, burnt out candles, broken charms, bad poems, unmailed letters. She calls them orphans of purpose.
Her shrines are built from trash, each one a quiet act of devotion. When she screeches her poetry to the grass, thunder answers in applause.
“Nothing is truly gone,” she croaks. “It’s just pretending to be unimportant.”
Part of the Month of Monsters Project- new beings born of ruin, myth, and the tenderness of decay.
